Glass Landscapes and Bowls: The glass is cut into the desired shape. The shapes can be as easy as circles, squares and rectangles, or more complicated cuts for tree trunks, branches, flowers, leaves, birds and structures. The glass is placed in the kiln and fused to 1200 – 1500 degrees to allow the glass to become fluid enough to make a custom sheet of glass. Some bowls and vases require a custom sheet of glass made from new or recycled glass.

Lamps: An 18” clear glass circle is cut and covered with finely crushed amber or grey colored glass. The glass circle is fired in the kiln, and the middle circle is drilled to allow for the lamp base. The flowers and leaves are made out of finely crushed glass pieces in a mold, and the branches are made from hand cut glass. These are fired separately in the kiln. The flowers, leaves and branches are then artistically positioned on the 18 inch clear glass and fired in the kiln. The last step is to slump the glass into a mold that makes the lamp shade.
